MME provides personalized care plans, vocational training, educational support, and community integration programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Their services empower clients to lead independent and fulfilling lives within their chosen community.
Residential Living Services
Mission Mountain Empowerment (MME) offers services across different living arrangements for individuals with disabilities in diverse community settings. Depending on personal preferences, strengths, abilities, and/or needs, individuals may reside in a group home or an offsite residence. We foster a safe and inclusive environment for individuals while receiving the necessary support services.
A group home provides a family type experience where housemates live in a congregate setting. Our group homes are fully licensed, inspected, and provide private and secure personal spaces, ensuring 24-hour supervision.
Offsite services provide professional support and care to enhance their independent living experience.
Employment Opportunities
We provide job opportunities for our clients at our Day Center, Thrift Store, group homes, and other facilities. Our thrift store was created to provide our individuals with a variety of work experiences. Our individuals work in production and customer service to assist in building job skills and improving social skills.
Mission Mountain Empowerment also assists individuals in their quest to find employment in their local community. Supports are provided so that they may work as independently as possible. The program is based on the individual’s choices and vocational skills. MME works in conjunction with Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors through Montana state programs to ensure safe and professional environments for MME individuals.
Community Employment
Mission Mountain Enterprises provides employment opportunities for our individuals through our Community Employment Program. It is designed to provide people that qualify, the chance to work as independently as possible at a competitive job in the community. The program is based on the individual’s choices and vocational skills. MME is affiliated with Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors through Montana VRBS to ensure safe and professional environments for MME individuals.
Through our Community Employment Program, we provide the following services to the people in services depending on their needs, eligibility, and choices.
Community Integration and Recreation
Community activities including recreational, religious, cultural, vocational educational, and leisure pursuits are all part of MME’s Recreation Program. By identifying the needs and
desires of
individuals MME staff will provide experiences and education to help them meet their goals.
Participation in the Recreation Program and community integration offers greater self-sufficiency, self-efficacy, and increased self-esteem to our individuals. They learn how to become effective and proactive members of their community and environment. At MME we work hard to provide our individuals with life experiences which help them grow and succeed.
